Param Sundari Public Review: Netizens React to Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Latest Release
Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s rom-com Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan, has finally hit theatres after weeks of massive promotions. The duo toured multiple cities to meet fans and promote the film, building up a lot of excitement. Early reactions on X (formerly Twitter) show that while fans were eager, opinions are a bit mixed.
The film was heavily marketed with the promise of bringing back the Sonu Nigam era of romantic ballads, and the song Pardesiya does carry that catchy nostalgic charm. #ParamSundari tries to be a fun ride, but ends up pretty flat. The writing stays on a very basic level with only a handful of jokes actually landing. Sid & Jhanvi are decent, the music lifts the mood but beyond that it feels too simple and at times even overboard.
