Sharing her thoughts about health and self-care during Self Care Month, she offered her take on how self-care isn’t always glamorous. She opened up about it being something that helps her start her mornings. “Self-care isn’t always glamorous. It is discipline. For me, it started with yoga, but it slowly expanded into something deeper. It taught me to pause, breathe, and really listen to my body. That one hour on the mat each day isn’t just a workout. It is my sanctuary, a space where the outside noise fades and I connect inward.”

Rakul further added that fitness isn’t only about physical workout, it also means clearing the mind. She added, “I eat clean, move with intent, and rest when my body asks for it. That balance of nourishment, movement and stillness is what makes me glow. I don’t do it for appearances or social media, I do it because it makes me feel powerful, peaceful, and alive. Self-care, to me, is showing up on tough days, on good days, and every day in between with love, presence, and strength.”

On the professional front, Rakul Preet is going to star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana as Surpanakha. While the ensemble cast hasn’t been revealed yet, reports suggest that Rakul Preet is a part of the epic. The film is slated for a two-part release during Diwali 2026 and 2027. Ranbir Kapoor will star as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
