Are Ananya Panday and Abhay Verma Working on a Sci-fi Comedy Film Titled Choomantar?

The director for the project has also been reportedly finalised. Tarun Dudeja, who director Dhak Dhak in 2023, will be directing this film. The prep for the shooting is slated to begin in September. The movie will reportedly go on floors by the end of this year.

Interestingly, Abhay Verma has already worked with Dinesh Vijan before but this will mark Ananya Panday’s first collaboration with him. In other news, the two stars have their lineups for the year and next ready. Abhay is slated to star in Shah Rukh Khan starrer King. He will work with Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan as well. He will star in Bambai Meri Jaan, Oni Sen’s Netflix series based on Operation Safed Sagar. The actor has completed shooting for Shujaat Saudagar’s JC. He will star alongside Shanaya Kapoor. He is also set to star in Laikey Laikaa, opposite Rasha Thadani.

Ananya Panday, on the other hand, is currently filming Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, alongside Kartik Aaryan. The stars have been sharing goofy photos and videos from the sets time and again. She also stars in Chand Mera Dil with Lakshya. While the release date hasn’t been announced, Ananya is gearing up to come back as Bae for Call Me Bae season 2.
