Aneet Padda Gets Emotional As Her School Celebrates Saiyaara’s Success

Aneet Padda recently had an emotional moment after her school in Amritsar, Spring Dale Senior School, paid a special tribute to her incredible success with Saiyaara. The school created a heartwarming video that captured Aneet’s journey from being a bright, enthusiastic student to becoming one of Bollywood’s biggest breakout stars of 2025. The tribute not only celebrated the blockbuster run of Saiyaara but also sent warm wishes for her future in the industry.

Aneet, who doesn’t come from a film background, began her journey in the entertainment world through ad films and eventually made her debut in Big Girls Don’t Cry. But it was Saiyaara that truly catapulted her into stardom. In the video shared by her school, her former teachers fondly remembered her as a hardworking student who stood out in academics as well as extracurriculars. The clip also included never seen before photographs from her school days, capturing her performances in plays and candid moments with her classmates.

Sharing the tribute on Instagram, Aneet wrote an emotional note that left many touched. “I don’t even know how to put this into words. Watching this, I just sat there with the biggest smile on my face and tears in my eyes,” she said. “Dales is where I’ve grown up, where I’ve learnt how to dream big, where people believed in me long before I even had the courage to believe in myself.” She went on to say, “Every time I step onto a set now, there’s a part of me that’s still that little girl in a Springdale uniform, sitting in class, daydreaming about this exact life.”

She added, “I hope I make you proud, not just with the film, but with who I’m becoming. I can’t wait to come back, and just say thank you to each of you, properly, face to face. You’ve given me so much more than an education, you’ve given me a piece of myself I’ll never lose. Thank you for seeing me, for cheering for me, and for reminding me that no matter how far I go, I’ll always have a home to come back to.” Saiyaara, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Mohit Suri, has already collected a massive Rs. 278.75 crore at the Indian box office, solidifying Aneet’s arrival in the industry.
