Box Office Report: Saiyaara Hits Rs 200 Crore Milestone, Fantastic Four Picks Up With Rs 12.5 Crore
Mohit Suri‘s romantic film Saiyaara continues to impress with its excellent performance at the Indian box office, and on its second Saturday, the film has now crossed the big milestone of Rs 200 crore. With newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles, Saiyaara has quickly gained popularity among fans. Based on initial estimates from Sacnilk, the film had earned Rs 19.67 crore by 6:15 pm on Day 9, hence bringing the total box office earnings to Rs 210.42 crore and crossing the Rs 200 crore mark.
It is truly remarkable that Saiyaara has achieved a position within the top 50 highest-grossing Hindi films, achieving this feat during its second weekend. Just two days back, Saiyaara was ranked 84th on the list of all-time highest-grossing Hindi films. However, it has now surged to the 46th position, crossing successful films such as Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

It is also noteworthy that Saiyaara has achieved so much without the involvement of a superstar. The film has instead impressed audiences through its intense emotional depth, the fresh chemistry between its actors, and a wonderful soundtrack. Lead actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have successfully resonated with the younger audience, and Mohit Suri’s signature mix of intense plots and good music has proven to be highly effective.
On the other hand, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, directed by Matt Shakman, seems to be gaining its stride in both India and the global box office. After an initial estimate of Rs 5.5 crore, the film showed good growth on Day 2, earning approximately Rs 7 crore, which brings its total Indian box office earnings to Rs 12.5 crore, based on initial estimates from Sacnilk.
This progress has been achieved despite facing considerable competition from the Bollywood release, Saiyaara, which continues to perform well domestically. However, The Fantastic Four has managed to maintain a good presence at the box office, with an overall occupancy rate of 47.60% for its English screenings.
As the collections have crossed the Rs 10 crore mark, it will be interesting to see whether the film can reach the Rs 20 crore milestone by the end of its opening weekend at the box office.
