Shah Rukh Khan Praises Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great Trailer
Anupam Kher’s upcoming film Tanvi The Great is already making waves, with the trailer receiving a lot of love from the industry. Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram Stories to share the trailer and penned a heartfelt message for his longtime friend. He wrote, “To my friend @AnupamPKher who has always taken chances… whether it’s acting, filmmaking or life!! The trailer of #TanviTheGreat is looking awesome. All the best on this journey!!” Anupam re-posted it on his profile with a warm thank you and red heart emojis.
The story follows 21-year-old Tanvi Raina, a young woman with autism who discovers her late father’s unfulfilled dream. To stand at Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield, and salute the Indian flag. Her father, an Indian Army officer, passed away without ever completing that mission. Determined to honour him, Tanvi sets out on a journey to do what no one expects of her, facing resistance from both society and the system that doubts her abilities because of her condition.
The film stars newcomer Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role and features Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Iain Glen and Karan Tacker in key roles. It is set to release in theatres on July 18 and offers a mix of emotion, courage and inspiration. The trailer has already struck a chord for its emotional depth and the message of breaking barriers.
Speaking about the film in an interview with ANI, Anupam said Tanvi The Great is not just about a girl who wants to join the Indian Army. According to him, it is also a story meant to reignite the goodness in people that often fades in the rush of modern life. Through Tanvi’s journey, he hopes to remind audiences of the power of empathy, belief and never giving up on a dream.
