Priyanka Chopra Jonas Reacts to Shefali Jariwala’s Demise

Actor and model Shefali Jariwala‘s sudden demise on Friday, shocked her fellow industry colleagues and fans. Her last rites were performed at her residence after a postmortem examination at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.

Several close friends from the industry and other celebrities have expressed their reactions to the unfortunate incident. The latest star to share her condolences is Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who shared her condolences on her Instagram story.

Sharing a picture of Shefali Jariwala, Priyanka wrote, “So shook. She was too young. Sending condolences to Parag and the family.”

Shefali’s cremation took place at the Oshiwara Crematorium on Saturday evening. Parag Tyagi was clearly shaken, shedding tears as he performed the final rites.

Family, close friends, and numerous television personalities were present to offer their condolences. Shefali’s fellow Bigg Boss 13 participants, Aarti Singh, Mahira Sharma, and Reshami Desai had visited her home earlier in the day, where her mortal remains had been kept prior to the cremation.

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan also paid her respects and appeared to be quite shaken. Further, Paras Chhabra, Hindustani Bhau, Shehnaaz Gill, and Vikas Gupta, amongst others, were seen at the crematorium. Other celebrities who took to their social media to express their sorrow were Mika Singh, Kamya Punjabi, Aly Goni, Himanshi Khurana who knew Shefali personally.

Earlier, Varun Dhawan posted on his stories, requesting the media to be a bit more considerate and sensitive towards their coverage of someone’s demise which was supported by Janhvi Kapoor.

According to sources, the last update earlier in the day said that the investigation into the sudden passing of actor Shefali Jariwala is currently in progress, with two teams from the Amboli Police Station managing the case.

So far, the police have gathered seven samples of CCTV footage and registered the statements of fourteen individuals, including family members, domestic staff, and those who frequently interacted with Shefali.
