Recently, Diljit Dosanjh landed in a controversy after he was accused of non-cooperation amid allegations that his film also stars Pakistani actors Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president, BN Tiwari, condemned Diljit Dosanjh’s actions and threatened to ban him from the film industry. “If Diljit Dosanjh or any other artist continues to act like this, action will not just be taken against their film but against them as well. They will be accused of non-cooperation. We have no place for traitors. The film industry cannot support people who are against this country. We need to stop people who are sitting in India but are helping others. We are getting multiple names. They will be ousted from the industry if they do not work for the betterment of the country,” he said.

On the work front, Dosanjh was last seen in the romantic comedy ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’, starring alongside Neeru Bajwa and Jasmin Bajwa. The popular Punjabi singer-actor will next appear in the mystery comedy ‘Detective Sherdil’, which also features Chunky Pandey and Diana Penty in significant roles.
