Father’s Day Special: New Gen Dads of Bollywood

On Father’s Day, we celebrate dads who guide, love, and inspire no matter their spotlight. Bollywood’s newest generation of fathers is doing just that, as many welcome Gen-Alpha children into their lives. These star dads aren’t just seen, they’re hands-on, affectionate, and real. Here’s a warm look at these new-gen Bollywood dads and their growing families.

Varun Dhawan and his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal welcomed their first child, Lara, on June 3, 2024. Now just over one, Lara is joyfully growing up in their Mumbai home, with Varun often spotted doting on her in candid family photos.

Ayushmann Khurrana and wife Tahira Kashyap share two kids: son Virajveer (born January 2012) and daughter Varushka (April 2014). Now 13 and 11, the siblings are smart, curious, and often praised by Ayushmann for their insight and playfulness.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt welcomed their daughter Raha in November 2022. Now around two-and-a-half, Raha is already stealing hearts with her spirited personality, Ranbir says fatherhood with her has brought unexpected joy and calm.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have carved out a life with daughter Misha (August 2016) and son Zain (September 2018). Misha is now eight and Zain six; Shahid frequently shares how fatherhood has deepened his emotional world and patience.

Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan, married since 2014, are parents to son Ahil (born early 2016) and daughter Ayat (December 2019). Ahil is about nine, while Ayat is five; family photos show them close-knit, playful, and full of life together.

Saif Ali Khan first became a dad in 1995 with daughter Sara Ali Khan, and again in 2001 with son Ibrahim Ali Khan, both from his marriage to Amrita Singh. Ali and Richa Chadha became new parents to daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal on July 16, 2024. The little girl, affectionately called Zuni, brings deep joy, and Ali has spoken openly about his newfound anxiety when away from home, cherishing every moment.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is a proud single father to twins Yash and Roohi, born via surrogacy in February 2017. Now 8, the twins are charismatic and often featured in candid family posts that showcase their bond and Karan’s loving, playful side.

These Bollywood dads show that being a father isn’t about fame, it’s about time, tenderness, and presence.
