Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha Announce Pregnancy
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha recently took to social media to announce that they are expecting their first child. Sharing a heartwarming carousel on social media, the two confirmed the news of their pregnancy while seeking blessings from well-wishers and ardent fans.
The post comprises the photo of a cake with the description, “1+1=3.” The next slide consists of a video, where Parineeti and Raghav are seen walking hand in hand while Annie Ahluwalia’s Anand Bhaya Meri Maaye plays in the background. Parineeti captioned the carousel as, “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”
Fans, well-wishers and Parineeti’s industry colleagues took to the comments to share their excitement on the news. The duo tied the knot on September 24, 2023. They had a private wedding at the Leela Palace in Udaipur. The actress had once opened up about her first meeting with Raghav in London. She noted that things escalated quickly between them, and they began acknowledging romantic emotions towards each other. “He had fallen in love at first sight. And when I met him, I thought I would get married to him, till then I knew nothing about him,” she said.
Raghav had added, “She often shares that after that meeting, she checked on Google what my age was and if I was married. She even googled what the duties of a Member of Parliament are.”
Parineeti hilariously revealed that she also checked Raghav’s height on Google. She hoped for her husband to be taller than her and admitted having been relieved when she got to know about his proper height.
