Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk and Fardeen Khan to Reunite After Khel Khel Mein?

Filmmaker Mudassar Aziz is set to produce another comedy film, and according to reports, three actors from his 2024 film Khel Khel Mein have been cast for the new project. As per reports, the film has been titled Zamana Kya Kahega and is aiming to be a one-of-its-kind high-concept situational comedy. And it will feature Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan and Ammy Virk in the lead roles.

The source continued, “Much like Happy Bhaag Jayegi, this one too is an event-based comedy, where situations pile up one after the other, leading to humour. The subject was discussed by Mudassar with Taapsee, Fardeen, and Ammy on the sets of Khel Khel Mein, and the trio has been on board ever since then.” This will mark the directorial debut of cinematographer Amit Roy, who has previously worked in films such as Dunki, Animal and Deva. The source also shared that the film will be shot in India and the UK.

Meanwhile, Taapsee, Ammy and Fardeen shared the screen in Mudassar’s film Khel Khel Mein. The comedy drama focused on three married couples who gather at Jaipur for a wedding. They decide to play a game where everyone has to place their cellphones on the table, and whoever receives a call or a message has to share the details with everyone in the room. It turns out that everyone had been hiding something from their spouses. Taapsee and Ammy played one of the married couples, while Fardeen played the role of a cricket coach who later comes out as gay, much to the surprise of his friends.

The film also starred Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, Ishitta Arun and Talat Aziz among others.
