All About Priyanka Chopra’s Cryptic Social Media Story Amid Heads of State Controversy

Priyanka Chopra has recently shared some social media stories that are being discussed by fans at length. Ongoing discussions on various platforms suggest that the actress is opening up about her manager’s remarks who recently faced considerable criticism for crediting Priyanka with the success of her movie Heads of State.

Her manager had noted that the data suggests Priyanka has been instrumental in creating buzz around the movie. As per a report by Variety, she said, “I don’t think she would normally be credited for (the film’s success) because she’s not the lead. She’s not a ‘head of state.’ But in this case, the data doesn’t lie.” Now Priyanka has joined the conversation. The actress shared, “For all those asking. Yes I still don’t read my books backwards.”

Ilya Naishuller’s movie Heads of State was released worldwide on an OTT platform on July 2. It starred John Cena, Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in leading roles. During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, John Cena and Priyanka Chopra opened up about Heads of State. Priyanka said, “I loved working on the movie. It was a bunch of people who loved the movie they were working on. We were all really big fans of the movie we were making. We loved coming to work every day and we loved working with each other. The tone was great. Everyone was fun and light. We were all fans of the movie. It was a really good crew and I enjoyed the experience.” John shared, “I think the fun shows on screen. We had a blast making it.”

Priyanka further added, “The movie was written as you see it. My character was always supposed to be the heavy lifter when it comes to the physicality of it. It was very important to the male cohort of this movie. It is helmed by predominantly men. I was honoured to play a part which was written for a woman to succeed and thrive. It does not happen often as you know.”
