Where to Watch ‘Superman’ Online
The new DC Universe takes off with Superman (2025), which stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult and others. And while the movie is a big box office hit and still in select theaters nationwide, you can now watch the new superhero movie at home.
Starting on Friday, Aug. 15, Superman is available to buy or rent online on digital in 4K Ultra HD starting at $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere.

Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Superman is expected to stream on HBO Max for subscribers only. Although the studio has yet to announce the movie’s streaming date, it will likely drop sometime in late September or early October.
An HBO Max subscription is required to stream Superman when it is available, and the streamer starts at $9.99 per month with ads. In the meantime, Superman in 4K Ultra HD is available digitally to rent for $24.99, or buy for $29.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. Tickets to see the film in theaters are still available at fandango.com and elsewhere.
Warner Bros. announced that Superman will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on Tuesday, Sept. 23. You can preorder the physical media release with prices starting at $19.95 (reg. $24.98) on Amazon.
Directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad), Superman follows the Man of Steel (David Corenswet) getting drawn into an international conflict between two warring countries and a personal conflict with billionaire Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), as he tries to come to terms with his Kryptonian background, his human life on Earth and his budding relationship with The Daily Planet’s star reporter Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan).
The superhero movie also stars Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Wendell Pierce, Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover, Alan Tudyk, Sara Sampaio, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Neva Howell and others. It runs two hours and 10 minutes.
