Kriti Sanon CONFIRMED in Cocktail 2, Homi Adajania Shares Major Update

Filmmaker Homi Adajania has shared an update on Cocktail 2 featuring Kriti Sanon. The director of Cocktail took to Instagram to share a photo of Kriti, who is headlining the sequel along with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. Homi posted Kriti’s photo but covered her face with a GIF that read, “Work in Progress.” He tagged the actress and wrote, “#Thescicilianchapter #Cocktail2,” hinting at an intriguing chapter in the beloved franchise. The post indicates that Kriti has already started her preparation for the film, diving into the nuances of her character and collaborating closely with the team.

Thirteen years after the original film’s release, Homi Adajania is working on the sequel with Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. Last month, celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, who is Homi’s wife, shared a sneak peek of the Cocktail 2 script on her Instagram story. Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan, the plot is currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon has an interesting lineup of projects besides Cocktail 2. The actress is working on Tere Ishk Mein with Dhanush. The film is helmed by Aanand L Rai. Adding to the excitement, industry buzz suggests that she is on board for Don 3, along with Ranveer Singh. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, is currently occupied in filming his new project with Vishal Bharadwaj. The film also features Triptii Dimri. Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen in Kuberaa, has several upcoming projects, including Mysaa, The Girlfriend, Thama, and Animal Park.
