The First Look of Aryan Khan’s Directorial Debut The Ba***ds of Bollywood to Be Out on THIS Date

Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is stepping into the world of showbiz as a director with his debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The title was officially confirmed on February 3 at an event in Mumbai, but the release date is yet to be announced. Fans won’t have to wait long for a sneak peek, as the first look will be revealed on August 20 during a Netflix-hosted event in Mumbai.

Reports suggest Aryan might not take part in the promotional activities. The cast has been kept under wraps, although speculation is rife about appearances by Mona Singh, Bobby Deol, and even Ranbir Kapoor in special roles.

In an exclusive chat with Zoom, casting director Karan Mally shared insights into the project’s casting process. “It was a long process because Aryan is very particular about everything that he wants, which is a good thing. He doesn’t let go of any character, however big or small. Every character is written well,” he said. Mally added that the team auditioned extensively to ensure every role fit perfectly, as the series features a large ensemble.

Co-written by Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqi, and Manav Chauhan, the series follows “an ambitious outsider and his friends” as they navigate the dazzling yet unpredictable world of Bollywood. It is expected to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the glamour, challenges, and personal struggles within the film industry.

 

According to some reports, the main cast includes Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, and Raghav Juyal, with reported cameo appearances by big names like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh. The project is being closely guarded, adding to the intrigue and anticipation among audiences.

For Aryan, this marks a significant move into filmmaking after years of preparation. With Netflix backing the series and a star-powered lineup, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is poised to become one of the platform’s most talked-about Indian originals this year.
