War 2 advance booking begins, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR shine in new promo
‘War 2’, one of 2025’s most awaited films, has started advance bookings in India. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film’s makers released a thrilling new promo showing Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR as super-spies Kabir and Vikram in high-octane action scenes.
Sharing on social media, the studio wrote, “Unstoppable action. Unmatched entertainment. Tickets on sale now, book yours today! #War2 ONLY in cinemas from August 14th. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil in cinemas worldwide! #YRFSpyUniverse.”

According to The Times of India, the Hindi version of ‘War 2’ will be released on a massive 5,000 screens across India, a feat achieved by very few films. Film critics predict it could deliver the highest opening of the year. The film follows the massive success of ‘Saiyaara’, and all eyes are now on the box office chemistry between Hrithik and Jr NTR.
Part of YRF’s blockbuster Spy Universe, which began with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and includes ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Tiger 3’, this sixth installment will once again see Hrithik reprise his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. The trailer teases high-octane action and an intense face-off between the leads, with an epic, bloody showdown promised.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, ‘War 2’ also stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the upcoming interconnected film ‘Alpha’, while ‘Pathaan vs Tiger’ is already in pre-production.
