First Look of Love & War to Be Out on Ranbir Kapoor’s Birthday?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming romantic drama, Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is slated to release next year. As per a report, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to release the first look from the film on Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday which is on September 28. A source said, “It will surely be a gift for Ranbir’s fans. Several ideas have been discussed. There is a possibility of either Ranbir’s first look poster or a teaser featuring all three actors being shared with the audience.”

The source also mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently in talks with the lead actors to confirm the dates for the teaser shoot. It said, “This will be the first visual from the film, and Sanjay wants it to evoke curiosity among fans regarding the ambitious romantic drama, which shows Ranbir in an intense role with shades of grey.”

Also, there had been rumours swirling that Priyanka Chopra Jonas might collaborate with Bhansali on this project. Considering their previous work together on Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani, fans were quite optimistic. But a source has provided clarification, “Priyanka Chopra Jonas just happened to post a throwback video of her song Ram Chahe Leela. While Priyanka and Sanjay Leela Bhansali share a great fondness and mutual respect for each other’s work, there is absolutely no truth to the speculation of them collaborating at this point in time.”

Love & War is currently being filmed in Mumbai, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali intending to complete the shooting by the end of this year. While the official release date has been set for March 20, 2026, various reports have indicated the possibility of a delay. The film is reportedly a love triangle starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, & Vicky Kaushal. Both Ranbir and Alia will reunite with Vicky on-screen after their 2018 releases, Sanju and Raazi respectively.
