Varun Dhawan & Medha Rana Seek Blessings at Golden Temple After Finishing Border 2 Shoot
To celebrate the completion of filming for the upcoming war drama Border 2, Varun Dhawan paid a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar to receive blessings. He was joined by his co-star, Medha Rana.
Varun Dhawan also shared an image on his Instagram story featuring himself and Medha Rana, in which they are seen seeking blessings at the Golden Temple.
On August 3rd, Medha Rana, who is recently making headlines for her theatrical debut in Border 2, shared images from the set, with a heartfelt caption. She wrote, “I am endlessly grateful to the team of Border 2 for this honour. Thank you for trusting me with something so sacred. Every frame feels like a prayer, every moment on set a deep bow to those who give up everything so we can live fearlessly.”
The Border 2 team also celebrated the milestone with a heartwarming on-set cake-cutting moment, where Varun Dhawan cut the cake marking the wrap up along with Medha Rana, director Anurag Singh, producer Bhushan Kumar, & co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binnoy K Gandhi. Posting the wholesome clip, T-Series added a caption, “Marking the completion of his shoot, Varun Dhawan along with co-star Medha Rana, producer Bhushan Kumar, co-producer Shiv Chanana, Binnoy K Gandhi, & director Anurag Singh began with a heartwarming on-set celebration, followed by a special visit at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.”
Earlier last month, Ahan Shetty, who also stars in the film, posted a picture with co-actors Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, marking the wrap of the Pune leg of the shoot. He added a caption, “Aur kya hai yeh border..? Bas ek fauji aur uske bhai hain. That’s a wrap in Pune.. onto the next one.”
Border 2 is a film that gives tribute to the unyielding spirit of Indian army, set against the ideals of heroism, sacrifice, and national pride. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film aims to honour the legacy of the 1997 classic while establishing its unique identity through a fresh narrative approach. The film features a cast including Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, Sunny Deol, and others.
