Liam Neeson Stays on the Comedy Path With ‘Cold Storage’ Trailer, Packed With Zombie Splatter

Liam Neeson is short on patience as he attempts to put an end to a deadly outbreak in the trailer for Cold Storage.

Neeson, who currently stars in Paramount’s reboot of The Naked Gun, appears to be delivering another mixture of quips and thrills with the dark comedy that is planning a 2026 theatrical release from Samuel Goldwyn Films. Jonny Campbell (Dracula, Westworld) helms the film that hails from StudioCanal and also stars Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell, Sosie Bacon, Vanessa Redgrave and Lesley Manville.

Cold Storage centers on Teacake (Keery) and Naomi (Campbell), two employees of a self-storage facility located at the site of a former U.S. military base, who discover a parasitic fungus has escaped from within the complex’s depth. Soon, people in the building are dealing with the quickly mutating microorganism that makes bodies explode.

“This place was military storage back in the day,” Keery notes in the trailer about the self-storage facility. Later, as the situation gets weirder, he remarks, “That fucking deer just took the fucking elevator.”

Toward the end of the footage, Neeson has had enough with Keery and requests, “Could you please ask him to shut the fuck up?”

Campbell directed the movie from a script by David Koepp that is based on the scribe’s 2019 novel of the same name. Koepp and Gavin Polone serve as producers.

“We’re happy to continue our relationship with Studiocanal and excited to be handling this thrilling movie from David Koepp, Jonny Campbell and Gavin Polone,” said Samuel Goldwyn Films president Peter Goldwyn and CEO Ben Feingold in a previously released joint statement.
