Opening up about the film, Chitrangda said, “It’s a story of bravery and courage… Coming from an army background, I remember this event being spoken about in our circles. So to be part of this film feels very personal.”

What makes it even more special is the scale and intent of the project. With Salman leading the cast, the film is bound to command attention but for Chitrangda. She said that the emotional and thematic depth of the story drew her in. “This isn’t just about the spectacle. It’s meaningful. It’s rooted. It’s real,” she emphasised. She sees it as a way of honoring the real heroes, of bringing forgotten or lesser-known stories into the mainstream.

Of course, working with Salman Khan is a milestone. “Everything he’s part of becomes massive. Whether you’re an actor or technician, it all scales up,” she said. But what excited her more was the chance to be part of a film that says something important. Adding, “It’s the kind of story that deserves to be told. And I’m just happy I get to be part of telling it.”

Salman recently spoke about the physical challenges he faced while playing his character in the film. He said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I have to give more time now. Earlier, I would manage it in one or two weeks, but now I’m running, kicking, punching, and doing all that stuff. This film demands that. For instance, in Sikandar, the action was different, the character was different. But this is physically difficult, especially shooting in Ladakh, at high altitudes and in cold water.”
