Aamir Khan Moves Into a New Apartment As His Old One Goes Into Redevelopment

Bollywood star Aamir Khan has temporarily moved into new upscale accommodations in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area. The actor has leased four high-end apartments in the posh Bandra neighbourhood for a total monthly rent of Rs 24.5 lakhs. The shift comes as his personal apartments in the Virgo Housing Society are currently under major redevelopment.

As per property registration records accessed via Zapkey.com, the lease agreement spans five years, from May 2025 to May 2030, with a lock-in period of 45 months. The contract includes a security deposit of Rs 1.46 crore, a stamp duty of Rs 4 lakhs, and a registration fee of Rs 2000. The rent is also set to increase by 5% every year as per the agreement.

The Dangal actor is currently staying at Wilnomona Apartments in Pali Hill, one of Mumbai’s most prestigious residential locations. Interestingly, his new address is just 750 metres from Puja Casa, the temporary residence of fellow superstar Shah Rukh Khan, whose iconic home Mannat is currently undergoing construction, including the addition of a new floor.

Aamir Khan reportedly owns 12 apartments in the Virgo Housing Society. The redevelopment project is expected to transform the old structure into an ultra-luxury residential tower with apartments priced over 1 lakh Rupees per sq. ft. Once complete, Aamir is expected to receive a new set of upgraded homes in the same location.

This move follows a trend among Bollywood celebrities seeking luxurious temporary accommodations during renovations. Shah Rukh Khan, for instance, is paying 24 lakh Rupees per month for four floors at Puja Casa. The building is owned by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, and father Vashu Bhagnani.

Pali Hill and Bandra continue to be the residential hub for Bollywood’s elite. The neighbourhood houses several A-listers, including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Rekha. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are also set to move into their sea-facing quadruplex apartment on Bandra Bandstand, along with their daughter Dua.

With real estate prices soaring and redevelopment transforming iconic buildings, it seems Bollywood’s stars are setting new benchmarks in luxury living, even when it’s temporary.
