Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par to Stream on THIS Platform

After a heartwarming run in theatres, Sitaare Zameen Par, the sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, is now all set for a digital release, but with a twist. Instead of landing on a major OTT platform, Aamir Khan has decided to bring the film straight to YouTube starting August 1, 2025, at a pocket-friendly price of just 100 Rs.

To make this announcement extra special, Aamir Khan appeared in a hilarious promo video alongside his sons, Junaid Khan and Azad Rao Khan. The trio paid tribute to the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna, recreating its iconic scenes with a modern, fun twist. This is the first time Aamir and Junaid have appeared on screen together, making the announcement even more exciting for fans.

The quirky promo, which also stars Rajkumar Santoshi, director of the original Andaz Apna Apna movie, was created by Vaibhav Bundhoo. The ad captures the nostalgic charm of the ’90s hit while promoting the film’s new digital journey. Speaking about the experience, Vaibhav said, “At Fever Films, an Ad production house goal is to execute the best stories coming from Creative agencies and Brand clients. Directing this ad film was like a dream come true, as I got to work with the legend Aamir khan, while using a cult favorite reference of Andaz Apna Apna & the product we are selling in the ad film is a story itself”.

Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, and introduces ten fresh faces to Bollywood. The film explores themes of learning differences, inclusion, and creativity, echoing the spirit of its predecessor.

Aamir is also busy with other projects under his banner, Aamir Khan Productions. Up next are Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, and Ek Din, featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
