“Past Catches Up…”- Salman Khan Talks About Salim Khan’s Golden Advice

There was a time when Salman Khan‘s X (formerly Twitter) account felt like his personal diary. From tweeting in support of his industry colleagues, to sharing his daily musings and at times, random ramblings, he often bared his heart on the social media platform. While the superstar has dialled that down, he recently took to his Instagram account to share something personal. In a cryptic post, he reflected on some advice his father, Salim Khan, gave him and how he wished he had received it earlier in life.
Salman shared a photo of himself wearing a black t-shirt with ‘Being human’ written on it. Along with it, he wrote, “Present becomes yr past, past catches up 2 your future, present Is a gift, do right with it, mistakes repeated becomes a habit n then your character, dont blame any 1 , no 1 can make u do anything that u don’t want to. My dad just said this to me, it’s so true. Kash I heard this earlier but never too late.”

Salman Khan is currently busy preparing for his next film, Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the intense 2020 conflict between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.
The actor spoke about the physical challenges he faced while playing his character and said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day, it gets more and more difficult. I have to give more time now. Earlier, I would manage it in one or two weeks, but now I’m running, kicking, punching, and doing all that stuff. This film demands that. For instance, in Sikandar, the action was different, and the character was different. But this is physically difficult, especially shooting in Ladakh, at high altitudes and in cold water.”
