Box Office Report: Saiyaara Gears Up to Cross The 150-crore Mark

Saiyaara, the romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, has truly captured the nation’s heart since hitting theatres on July 18. With newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda leading the story, the film has created a massive buzz everywhere, from cinema halls to social media. Its emotional depth, charming performances and soulful vibe have made it one of the most talked about films of the season.
Saiyaara

According to Sacnilk, the film pulled in Rs 25 crore on its first Tuesday alone, a rare and incredible number for a weekday. What’s even more surprising is that this collection is higher than what it made on day one. Saiyaara had already kicked off with a strong start at Rs 21.5 crore and followed it up with a huge weekend, with Sunday alone bringing in Rs 35.75 crore. By the end of Tuesday, the total collection had climbed to an outstanding Rs 132.25 crore, with Hindi occupancy sitting at a healthy 46.39 percent.

In just five days, Saiyaara has left behind some of the biggest names at the box office. It has already surpassed Salman Khan’s Sikandar, which closed at Rs 110.1 crore, and Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, which earned Rs 112.75 crore. Now, it has its eyes set on Rs 153.55 crore, the total collection of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Not bad for a film starring fresh faces. No one saw this coming, but the audience clearly did.
Saiyaara

The heart of Saiyaara lies in the love story between Krish, a passionate musician played by Ahaan, and Vaani, a soft-spoken journalist brought to life by Aneet. Their sweet yet heartbreaking journey has struck an emotional chord with viewers. And it’s not just the story. Its music, especially the title track sung by Faheem Abdullah, has become a sensation and even made it to Spotify’s Global Top 50. The film has also received a wave of love from Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, who’ve taken to social media to cheer it on. All in all, Saiyaara seems to be more than just a hit, it’s a moment.
