Anne Hathaway’s Look From Devil Wears Prada 2 Steals The Spotlight
Since the announcement of the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, featuring the original cast of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt, fans have been waiting for further news regarding its 2026 release. The fans received a big surprise when Anne Hathaway posted the first look of her character, Andy Sachs, from the film.
In the new picture, Anne is seen with a radiant smile, wearing a deep blue jumpsuit, and her hair is styled in a relaxed manner. She appears stylish and ready for action, providing fans with a glimpse of her character’s everyday office attire. However, fans are raring to see what adventures her character will go through in the upcoming sequel.
Ardent fans may remember that in the first movie, Andy, who aspired to be a journalist, unexpectedly receives an unusual job offer, leading her to accept the role of personal assistant to Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep. Eventually, she becomes quite adept at the job, perhaps even too much, and ultimately decides to resign.
Anne added a caption with her post, “Andy Sachs 2025 #dwp.” A fan reacted to the post, commenting, “Fashion icon since 2006. I am already obsessed with the outfit.” Another fan said, “We are definitely ready for Andy Sachs 2025, you look even more prettier than ever (which is nothing new for us), we know you’ll do incredibly epic and we’re wishing you the best!”
A fan wrote, “The outfits we are going to get will be insanely beautiful.” Another commented, “Stunning! She did not age at all. It shows how one doesn’t age when you are unproblematic.” A fan exclaimed, “So excited!”
The original film was inspired from Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel, which showed a young woman’s challenging experiences while employed at a fashion magazine. The film achieved huge commercial success, earning $326.7 million globally. The sequel is expected to be released in May next year.
