Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda Pen Heartfelt Notes for Each Other As Saiyaara Hits The Theatres

Mohit Suri’s musical romantic drama Saiyaara has finally hit the theatres today, and it’s already winning hearts. Starring debutant Ahaan Panday and rising actress Aneet Padda, the film opened to strong advance bookings and is receiving praise for both its story and performances.

To celebrate the big day, Ahaan Panday shared a touching post on social media dedicated to his co-star Aneet. In his emotional note, he thanked her for being a guiding force during their time together on set. He wrote, “To the girl in the yellow dress with the universe in her eyes… we have a new star up there now, you’ve made mumma and papa Padda so proud, and you did it all by yourself.” He went on to call her his mentor even though she may not have realised it and ended the message with a simple but powerful: “Thank you, senior. Thank you, starry-eyed girl.”

Though Saiyaara marks Ahaan’s debut, he called Aneet his “senior” because she has some experience in the industry. She started out as an extra in Kajol’s Salaam Venky in 2022 and later gained attention in Amazon Prime Video’s Big Girls Don’t Cry alongside Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain. Aneet also acted in a supporting role in the TV drama Yuva: Sapno Ka Safar in 2024, where she was credited as Aneet Kaur. That same year, she also released her first song, Masoom.

Aneet responded with a heartfelt message of her own, posting a photo of the two together and writing, “This is what unconditional love looks like.” She added, “The world is going to see the beauty of @ahaanpandayy, but I’ve had the honour of seeing it up close.” She ended with a poetic tribute in Hindi and English:  “Ahaana meri jaana, woh tum ho – mere saiyaara, my superstar. Tere hone se sab kuch theek lagta hai.”
