Salman Khan roots for devi Sonakshi Sinha ahead of Nikita Roy, urges fans to watch

Sonakshi Sinha is set to make a comeback to cinemas with her new supernatural thriller, ‘Nikita Roy’, set for release on July 18. Her co-star from the popular ‘Dabangg’ series, Salman Khan, has publicly expressed his excitement for the film.

Early Thursday morning, Salman Khan shared his enthusiasm and support for the film’s team and for Sonakshi’s performance.

Salman Khan shared the film’s poster and captioned it: “Sonakshi devi bani #NikitaRoy (Sonakshi has taken on the avatar of Nikita Roy)! Looking forward to this film aap bhi jaake dekho, kal release hai (You also go and watch it. The film is releasing tomorrow)! All the best to the team kill it (sic).”

This public endorsement was also shared by Sonakshi on her social media, where she encouraged her followers with the message, “18th July Go for it.”

‘Nikita Roy’ is directed by Kussh S Sinha, Sonakshi’s brother, and features her in the role of an investigator who challenges and debunks supernatural myths. The film promises a gripping narrative where her character’s belief system is rigorously questioned when she encounters an inexplicable case.

Co-starring actors Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal, ‘Nikita Roy’ was initially scheduled for a June 27 release but was postponed to July 18. The delay has not dampened the anticipation surrounding the film, particularly with the high-profile backing from Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy with his own project titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, a patriotic drama focusing on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
