Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana first glimpse receives praise from fans for its VFX

The creators of Ramayana: Part 1 released a grand official announcement of the film yesterday. The announcement of the star cast, which includes Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, further grabbed the audience’s interest. 

 

However, the initial appreciation of this much-awaited film goes beyond the cast, to the exceptional VFX that enhances its narrative and story. The subtle details within the title card, have in a way, initiated comparisons to the introductory sequence of Game Of Thrones among fans online and also made them compare it to Adipurush, another film based on the Ramayana epic, featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan. 

The introduction of Gods from the Hindu mythology, with the stylised text and visuals, has also received attention and praise. Also, fans have noted that the video’s captivating music, featuring collaborations with renowned names such as AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer, contributes to the audience’s excitement regarding the character’s epic journey in a narrative of conflict and wars. 

 

A flurry of reactions was seen on X, and parallelly, several discussions have begun as excitement grows for Nitesh Tiwari’s grand cinematic work. 

 

One of the users commented, “We can really see the result of talented people working together. Everything looks absolutely amazing in the glimpse, especially the VFX work, which was incredibly impressive.” 

 

Another said, “The first glimpse of the magnum-opus Ramayana movie is next level. The casting of the movie was already brilliant & the way they have shown Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, I can say without an iota of doubt that he will be the no. 1 star in Indian cinema for the next 1 or 2 decades…” 

The fans online, have been quite enthusiastic, expressing excitement after the official announcement of the historical cinematic project. Until the makers provide further updates or glimpses of this upcoming epic, the ongoing discussions and theories will keep going on.
