Distributed by Disney, Thunderbolts* is expected to land on Disney+ when its theatrical run is over sometime in late August or early September.
A subscription is required to stream Thunderbolts* on Disney+, which starts at $9.99 per month with ads. The streaming service is home to Marvel Studios films and TV series, such as Daredevil: Born Again, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Agatha All Along, Hawkeye and more multiverse content alongside hit original shows Andor, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Doctor Who, American Born Chinese, The Mandalorian and much more. In the meantime, Thunderbolts* in 4K Ultra HD is available digitally to rent for $24.99, or buy for $29.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. Tickets to see the film in theaters are still available at Fandango.com and elsewhere.
Disney announced that Thunderbolts* will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Steelbook on Tuesday, July 29. You can preorder the physical media release with prices starting at $34.99 on Amazon.
Thunderbolts* follows a group of antiheroes, led by Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), who are forced to work together to stop a new threat to New York City called Sentry (Lewis Pullman), even though they don’t like each other. However, after putting their differences aside, they realize they are more alike than they are different.
The film also stars Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and others. It runs two hours and six minutes.
