Ranbir Kapoor gets emotional after wrapping up Part 1 of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

The filming of Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film, Ramayana Part 1, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and others, has concluded. A recent video from the set has been circulated online, capturing an emotional Ranbir Kapoor delivering a heartfelt speech on the final day of shooting.

Ranbir expressed his gratitude to the entire team, considering this role the most significant of his career. He also extended his appreciation to his co-stars, including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, and others involved in this grand project. In the video, Ravi Dubey, who portrays Lakshman, is seen standing beside him.

Ranbir concluded by expressing that he finds it challenging to deliver speeches when such a significant event reaches its end. 

 

The production of Ramayana has been a lengthy process. Its filming has consistently grabbed attention, with news reports focusing on the excitement it has generated, as well as various rumours and speculations regarding casting, filming timelines, and its grand scope. Now that the filming has officially concluded, an official announcement is slated to release on July 3.

Since the announcement, fans have been eagerly awaiting to get a sneak peek of the grand vision that Nitesh Tiwari has been developing.

 

In this star-studded mythological epic, Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash takes on the role of Ravana, Sunny Deol appears as Hanuman, Kajal Aggarwal is cast as Mandodari, and Lara Dutta plays Kaikeyi. With the visual effects being managed by the Oscar-winning studio DNEG, the film is scheduled to release in theatres during Diwali 2026, with its second instalment planned for Diwali 2027.
