Fans took to the comments and shared how excited they are for a sequel. While a sequel hasn’t been officially confirmed, fans have still been gushing over Bachchan’s performance in the movie.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Kalki 2898 AD also starred Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan in leading roles. The film ended with a title card announcing the Kalki 2898 AD Cinematic Universe. Confirming the sequel, it read: “To be continued…” However, it is not confirmed whether the filming has begun or will begin soon. The actors, including Prabhas and Deepika have confirmed projects in their current line-up.
Prabhas is slated to star in The Raja Saab and Spirit. The actor is also a part of Prasanth Varma’s upcoming Brahmarakshas. Deepika, on the other hand, has been confirmed for Atlee and Allu Arjun’s untitled movie, AA22xA6.
While Deepika was also roped in for Spirit, she backed out from the movie due to work-life balance conflict. Now, the movie will star Triptii Dimri alongside Prabhas.
