Fatima Sana Shaikh Seemingly Dismisses Link-up Rumours With Vijay Varma

Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently promoting two of her upcoming movies. She has been spotted during Metro… In Dino’s promotions and now Fatima was seen at the trailer launch for Aap Jaisa Koi. She is starring alongside R Madhavan in the movie. At the trailer launch event, Fatima hinted at being single which has garnered mixed reactions on social media.

When asked about relationships, Fatima noted about trust. security and love for one’s partner. She opened up on respect and working towards the relationship every day, while making equal compromises. She said, “The one where two people respect each other, listen to each other’s thoughts and opinions.” She further added, “Both will have to make equal compromises. When you are in a partnership, you work towards the relationship without losing yourself. I think that is the way to a successful relationship.”

As the actress is being linked to Vijay Varma after the latter’s breakup with Tamannaah Bhatia, Fatima set the record straight that she is single. Opening up whether she has found the love of her life, she shared, “Acche ladke hai hi nai yaar… Koi bhi nahi hai (meri life mei mein). Filmon mein acche hote hai.” (I don’t get good guys. There’s no good guy in my life. Good guys are only in films.)

Aap Jaisa Koi, releasing on July 11 on Netflix, is about a matured couple, navigating through the different emotions of a relationship. As for Metro… In Dino, it also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher.

Fatima is also working on Gustakh Ishq. The film also stars Vijay Varma in a leading role. While details about the movie have been kept under the wraps, it is currently under production.
