Jackson Wang Suggests a Collaboration Between Shah Rukh Khan and BTS
When it comes to global popularity and stardom, Shah Rukh Khan and the Korean boy band BTS surely top the list. Both the Bollywood star and the K-pop sensations have carved out their places through relentless hard work and dedication towards their craft. And for fans who love both, choosing either one of them can be a nearly impossible task. Recently, GOT7 star Jackson Wang was presented with this dilemma and his response won hearts.
During a recent interview with NDTV, he was asked to choose between King Khan and BTS. As soon as he heard the question, Wang said, “Thank you for today”, and got up from his seat and pretended to walk away. When asked about it again, he said with mock seriousness, “Thank you so much. Namaste. It’s been very nice for my career. I am now saying that I’m officially retiring after this interview because I would get extreme backlash. I appreciate my ten years in the entertainment industry, and Magic Man 2 is not coming out.”
However, rather than choosing just one, Jackson had a better solution. He said, “Shah Rukh Khan – BTS collaboration!” The singer was then asked what a Bollywood film would be called if his track Buck with Diljit Dosanjh were the soundtrack, and he replied instantly, “Shah Rukh Khan and BTS. I want to be alive.”
Jackson Wang is close friends with BTS’ leader Kim Namjoon aka RM. Recently, Wang was in India to promote his upcoming album Magic Man 2 and also his track Buck with Diljit Dosanjh. During his visit, he met the Roshan family once again and spent some quality time with Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan among others. Wang also threw an invite only party for some of his industry acquaintances.
