“She Can Say Whatever She Wants To, but I Will Not Say a Word” – Ram Kapoor on Ekta Kapoor
Rumours of a falling out between TV actor Ram Kapoor and producer Ekta Kapoor have been circulating, but Ram Kapoor has chosen to put an end to all speculations. In a recent interview, Ram Kapoor addressed the controversy, choosing not to fuel any further rumours. Instead, he opted to appreciate Ekta Kapoor who gave him his big break.
Ram Kapoor said, “She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career.”
Ram Kapoor also cleared the air about his wife Gautami’s response to Ekta’s comment on his weight loss, saying it was all light-hearted. He clarified that his wife knows his true feelings, and at the same time he cannot ignore the opportunities Ekta has given him.

The controversy began when Ram Kapoor mentioned that Ekta Kapoor had issues with the romantic scenes in their show Bade Ache Lagte Hain, giving rise to speculations about a possible rift between them.
Ekta Kapoor had responded with a video, commenting about body image while saying, “Hum bade hi ache lagte hain” (We look good as we are).
On the work front, Ram Kapoor’s upcoming series, Mistry will be a crime-comedy detective show where he will play the lead role of Armaan Mistry, a genius detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The series is an Indian adaptation of the American show, Monk, and will also star Mona Singh as ACP Sehmat Siddiqui, Shikha Talsania as Sharanya, and Kshitish Date as police officer Bunty.
