Ek Deewaane Ki Deewaniyat box office day 4: Harshvardhan-Sonam film sees slight dip
After a promising Diwali debut, ‘Ek Deewaane Ki Deewaniyat’ has maintained a fair hold at the box office despite facing stiff competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Thamma’. The Milap Milan Zaveri directorial has earned an estimated Rs 28.25 crore net in India over four days, emerging as one of the season’s notable performers.
The film opened strong, reportedly collecting close to Rs 9 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 7.75 crore on Wednesday, Rs 6 crore on Thursday, and Rs 5.5 crore on Friday. Despite the gradual decline, the romantic drama continues to draw steady footfall, particularly from younger audiences and fans of love stories.
Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, ‘Ek Deewaane Ki Deewaniyat’ delves into themes of obsession and emotional devotion, underscored by a soulful soundtrack and heartfelt performances. The chemistry between the leads has been widely appreciated, adding to the film’s box office pull.
The supporting cast includes Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, and Rajesh Khera, all of whom contribute strongly to the narrative. Made on an estimated budget of Rs 25–30 crore, the film is well on its way to recovering its production cost.
