Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Teaser Out Now

The teaser for the much-awaited film starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor was finally released on Friday after a brief delay. Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf are also part of the cast, playing a couple in the movie. The teaser starts with Varun Dhawan enacting Amarendra Baahubali, the famous role played by Prabhas. However, he is stopped by a friend, who says, “Ranveer Singh ki dhoti mein Prabhas ka paudha lag raha hai (It’s like Prabhas’ plant in Ranveer Singh’s dhoti).” The teaser then introduces the main characters of the film, including Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. It offers a glimpse into the drama and romance that awaits the audience. The caption of the teaser read, “Quick intro: Four people. Two heartbreakers. One wedding. TEASER OUT NOW! Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in cinemas this Dussehra, 2nd October.”

Fans responded to the Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari teaser, sharing their delight at seeing Varun Dhawan return to a comedy role. The film is slated to release on October 2 setting the stage for a big box office clash with Kantara: Chapter 1. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, SSKTK marks Varun’s third collaboration with the filmmaker, after their successful ventures Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). The cast also includes Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul in key roles.

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, producer Karan Johar and the team strategically chose Gandhi Jayanti for the release date, as it aligns with Dussehra this year. A source said, “This is the perfect festive period to bring a romcom. With Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra falling on the same day, the film is expected to enjoy a long run without major competition until Diwali.”
