John Legend Signs With UTA
UTA has signed John Legend and his production company Get Lifted for global representation in all areas.
Across his career, Legend has won 13 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award and four Emmy Awards. He is about to embark on the North American leg of his “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour,” in which he performs songs from his debut album.

In addition to his discography, which includes 11 albums, Legend is a coach on The Voice and also earned an Emmy nomination for his role as Jesus in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.
With Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius, Legend co-founded Get Lifted Film Co. which has worked on projects including the Emmy-winning HBO documentary 1000% Me: Growing Up Mixed, Paramount+’s Loudmouth and Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow.
Legend also founded FreeAmerica in 2014, with the goal of changing the conversation about criminal justice policies and combating mass incarceration. He serves on the boards of Harlem Village Academies and Management Leadership for Tomorrow, as well as advisory boards for The Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice and Teach for All.
Legend has launched a skincare brand, Loved01, as well as dog lifestyle brand Kismet alongside his wife Chrissy Teigen.
