Salman Khan celebrates Independence Day by singing Saare Jahan Se Accha
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with a special musical tribute. He uploaded a monochrome video on Instagram, in which he is performing a rendition of the patriotic song Saare Jahan Se Accha. In the clip, he was seen singing the timeless classic with deep passion and sincerity. Once the song ended, he folded his hands in a gesture of respect, which was then followed by the salam gesture. The screen then faded to a visual of the Indian tricolour.

Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and more celebrated the day with full vigour. Bollywood’s Independence Day celebrations in 2025 were a blend of love for the nation and personal expression.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, which is based on the 2022 India-China Galwan Valley conflict. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film will show Salman Khan in intense action sequences and challenging shooting conditions in Ladakh. Talking about it, the actor shared, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I have to give more time now for training. Earlier, I would do it in one or two weeks, now I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
Salman also confirmed that Battle of Galwan will release in January, unlike his traditional Eid releases. He also hinted towards a sequel to his 2015 film Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is also in the works.
