Paresh Rawal’s The Taj Story to Release on THIS Date

Paresh Rawal is set to lead The Taj Story, a bold social drama that promises to stir conversation and challenge accepted historical narratives. The film, which releases nationwide on October 31, 2025, will raise one of the most provocative questions of our times: “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still slaves of intellectual terrorism?”

Alongside Paresh Rawal, the ensemble cast features Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das. The teaser, unveiled just before Independence Day, hints at a gripping mix of social commentary and drama, with intense performances and a message designed to spark debate.

At the heart of The Taj Story lies a centuries-old controversy: who truly built the Taj Mahal? Was it Emperor Shah Jahan, as mainstream history records, or is there another truth hidden in the past? The film sets out to explore this contested narrative, blending it with themes of freedom, identity, and the power of questioning the status quo.

Written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel, The Taj Story is described as more than a historical film, it’s a cinematic debate. It aims to make audiences reflect on how history is told and who gets to tell it, while delivering the drama and emotional pull of a large-scale feature.
The teaser has already ignited curiosity, suggesting that the film will not shy away from controversy. With Rawal’s commanding presence and the promise of layered  storytelling, it’s poised to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year. The film is backed by Swarnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd. and CA Suresh Jha, with Vikas Radhesham as creative producer and music by Rohit Sharma.
