Hrithik Roshan Urges Fans to Avoid War 2 Spoilers and Drops New Teaser

With just one day left for War 2 to hit theatres, Hrithik Roshan is reminding fans to keep the film’s surprises under wraps. The actor took to his official X account to share a 27-second teaser along with a spoiler-free plea.

Posting on social media, Hrithik wrote, “When #War2 begins, your mission is to keep the secrets safe! Say no to spoilers. #War2 ONLY in cinemas worldwide from August 14th. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.”

The teaser showcases fresh glimpses from the high-octane action thriller, further fuelling excitement among fans. Industry insiders have hinted that War 2 will feature two major Easter eggs during its end credits. “The YRF Spy Universe is getting bigger with each film. War 2’s end credit roll will reveal two huge plot points that will shape the next chapters of the spyverse. Those in the know say these moments will blow people’s minds,” a source shared.

The insider added that the post-credit scenes could tease returning spyverse icons, introduce new characters, or even announce the next big YRF Spy Universe title. “Not just War 2 but even its end credits are a must-watch!” they said. 

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., and Kiara Advani in lead roles, with Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor in pivotal parts. The script is by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala, based on a story by producer Aditya Chopra.

The release also marks one of the biggest box-office clashes of the year, as it goes head-to-head with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Coolie brings together a massive ensemble cast and a coastal port town revenge plot, War 2 promises spy-universe expansion, adrenaline-fuelled action, and surprises for fans. With both films releasing on August 14, audiences are set for an action-packed Independence Day weekend at the movies.
