Shah Rukh Khan Thanks Gauri Khan, Mohanlal, Shashi Tharoor and Others for Their Wishes

After over three decades in the industry, Shah Rukh Khan has been honoured with a National Award for his 2023 film Jawan. All his industry colleagues and friends took to social media to congratulate King Khan on this massive feat. He, too, thanked every one of them for their lovely wishes.

Replying to his old friend and colleague, Juhi Chawla, SRK wrote, “Thank u @iam_juhi … I’ve learned from the best. you have been an integral part of my journey. Big hugs!!” SRK and Juhi have shared the screen in several films such as Darr, Yes Boss, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Ram-Jaane, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Duplicate, among others.”

Next, he left a flirty response to his wife Gauri Khan‘s congratulatory message for him. Along with SRK, his old friends Karan Johar and Rani Mukerji also bagged the National Award. Gauri shared a photo with all three of them, and replying to it, Shah Rukh wrote, “Please brag about me to me when we sit for dinner tonight… thanks for producing the film.”

SRK replied to his Jawan co-star Ridhi Dogra, who played his on-screen mother and thanked her for “mother ka aashirwad”. He also responded to South stalwarts such as Mohanlal, Suriya, Jawan director Atlee, Kamal Haasan and Allu Arjun. Check out his reactions:

Besides industry people, politician Shashi Tharoor, too, extended his warm wishes to the actor for his win. In his signature humour, SRK replied, “Thank u for the simple praise Mr Tharoor… would not have understood something more magniloquent and sesquipedalian… ha ha”

The official winners for the 71st National Film Awards were announced on August 1. Besides SRK, Vikrant Massey also won the Best Actor Award for 12th Fail. Rani Mukerji bagged the Best Actress Award for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment award.
