Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Make Her Bollywood Comeback With Love & War?
Social media speculations around the characters and plot of Love & War are at an all-time high. While Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal have already been announced as cast members, many fans have been speculating that Priyanka Chopra Jonas would make her much-awaited Bollywood return with the movie. In fact, a report from Hindustan Times stated that Chopra Jonas’ post about her item song Ram Chahe Leela from Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela might have been a hint at her starring in an equally scintillating track in Love & War. Neither Priyanka nor Sanjay Leela Bhansali have confirmed anything yet.

However, a recent report from Bollywood Hungama dismisses the apparent rumours. The source in their report stated, “True, Priyanka had done a special song in Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela. But that was done as a favour after Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to do the number, backed out at the eleventh hour.” The source also noted, “Priyanka did the Ram Leela song and dance on condition that she will be cast as the leading lady in Bhansali’s next. The promise was not kept and there was a big fallout between the two. So no, Priyanka is not doing anything in Love & War.”
On the other hand, while Priyanka’s special number is not confirmed, Love & War is currently in production and gearing up for a March 20, 2026 release. The plot hasn’t been revealed yet but Ranbir and Vicky may have an epic faceoff. Priyanka is working on Rajamouli’s SSMB29, alongside Mahesh Babu. The movie’s release date hasn’t been announced but the actress is currently in Hyderabad with daughter Malti Marie and mother Madhu Chopra to shoot a few scenes from the project.
