A Quiet Place Part III Set for 2027 Release With John Krasinski Back As Director
A Quiet Place Part III is officially happening now, with John Krasinski returning to his roles as director, writer, and producer. According to Variety, this third main instalment in Paramount’s successful horror-thriller franchise will see Krasinski at the helm. He shared this news on August 1 on Instagram, along with updates regarding the Michael Sarnoski-directed spinoff, A Quiet Place: Day One.
This next instalment in the A Quiet Place series is set for release in theatres on July 9, 2027. Specific plot details are being kept under wraps, and it is currently uncertain whether the original cast members, including Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds, will be returning to their roles.

The upcoming part is expected to revisit the terrifying alien creatures, with hypersensitive hearing, that have brought about the decimation of human populations. According to reports, the film is expected to further explore the plot of humanity’s reliance on whispers and silence as a means of survival in a dangerous, post-apocalyptic setting.
The film will be produced by Krasinski’s Sunday NightProductions, in collaboration with Allyson Seeger and Platinum Dunes. Interestingly, Allyson Seeger’s company maintains a first-look agreement with Paramount, hence confirming their creative involvement in the franchise’s future.

The A Quiet Place franchise has enjoyed considerable commercial success, earning over $900 million worldwide across its three films. The first part, which released in 2018, achieved both critical acclaim and huge box office returns, earning $50.2 million during its opening weekend and eventually reaching $341 million globally.
The sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, experienced some delays due to the pandemic, but it eventually achieved a worldwide gross of $297.3 million. Also, the 2024 spinoff, A Quiet Place: Day One, directed by Michael Sarnoski and featuring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Djimon Hounsou, was also a success, earning $262 million globally. This spinoff, set in a devastated New York City during the alien invasion, broadened the franchise’s scope and storyline.
With Part III now officially confirmed and John Krasinski once again at the helm, fans of this suspenseful series can eagerly anticipate what is sure to be another gripping and thrilling cinematic experience.
