Shahid Kapoor Plays Cricket at Lord’s, Wife Mira Rajput Cheers Him on

Shahid Kapoor shared some photographs on social media, which showed him enjoy a day of cricket at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, where he was accompanied by his wife, Mira Rajput, who was present in the stands to offer her support. The images show Shahid participating in a friendly cricket match at Lord’s Cricket Ground, fully equipped with cricket attire and gear. His visible enthusiasm and skill on the pitch were captured in several photographs, which were eventually shared on social media, offering fans a sneak peek of the event.

Mira Rajput was also present, supporting Shahid from the stands. One image shows Shahid with his wife, Mira Rajput, who is fashionably attired in white. Shahid captioned the shared images with, “What a day!” The images of Shahid Kapoor playing cricket brought to mind his 2022 film, Jersey, for his fans. This sports drama, which was a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, told the story of a former cricketer who makes a comeback in his mid-thirties to fulfill his son’s desire. Although, it did not achieve much success at the box office.

Currently, Shahid Kapoor is occupied in filming his upcoming untitled movie. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda in key roles, with Vikrant Massey making a special appearance. The film is scheduled for release this December.

Also, a few days ago, filmmaker Amit Rai mentioned that his historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which was to star Shahid Kapoor, has been cancelled.
