25 IPS Officers Visit Aamir Khan’s Home
Aamir Khan, recently seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, has once again become a topic of discussion after the recent circulation of a video showing some activity outside his residence. The video, which shows police vehicles departing from his home, has increased curiosity regarding the purpose of this unexpected visit.
It has been reported that approximately 25 IPS officers were present at Aamir Khan’s Bandra residence. Although one report suggests the team’s visit was to meet the actor, there has been no official statement from Aamir Khan’s team, the actor himself, or the officials involved. However, the footage has visibly caused some concern among his fans. When Aamir Khan’s team was contacted, they expressed uncertainty about the reason for the visit, saying, “We are still figuring out with Aamir.”

Aamir Khan is expected to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, taking place from August 14 to 24, as the esteemed Chief Guest. His participation in the 16th edition of the Festival will feature a special retrospective celebrating his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema, in a spotlight presentation of his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par.
Regarding his role as Chief Guest at IFFM 2025, Aamir Khan shared his thoughts in a statement, “I’m humbled and excited to be a part of the Melbourne Indian Film Festival. It’s a festival that truly honours the spirit of Indian cinema in all of its diversity and riches. I’m excited to interact with audiences, share some of my most valued work, and participate in discussions that honour the power of film. With Sitaare Zameen Par, we attempted to tell a story that embraces inclusivity and neurodivergence with sensitivity and heart, and I’m grateful that the film has touched so many people. I am eager to share my journey with Melbourne and shed light on the stories that matter.”

Aamir Khan’s recent film, Sitaare Zameen Par, reportedly earned approximately Rs 165 crore net in India within a month of its release. The film was directed by RS Prasanna and also starred Genelia D’Souza.
As for his next project, he is expected to appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming biopic, which will be based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema.
