Kajol Says Going Under The Knife Isn’t About Gender: “A Lot of Men Are Doing It…”

When asked about her take on going under the knife, Kajol shared, “To go under the knife or not go under the knife is everybody’s personal journey. It is everybody’s personal choice and that should be left to them. Whether they are in the limelight or they aren’t in the limelight. It is a personal choice, as to what works for you and what doesn’t work for you.”
She shared how facial surgeries and botox aren’t women specific. “And let me just clarify it that it is not gender relevant. There are a lot of men who are doing it as well. In fact, equal amounts, I would say. Men who you probably do not know about or don’t even want to comment on this particular stage. So, I would say that it is definitely something that is a personal choice,” she added.

Kajol also revealed how aging is a natural process for her. She shared that she does not see it as a bane. “And aging, as far as I am concerned, is in the mind. The privilege of aging is that you can do it. There are a lot of people who don’t. There are a lot of people who’ve died young and never had the chance to age at all. That doesn’t mean they’re lucky. That just means they didn’t have the chance to age and come forward in life. So yes, I have that many more wonderful years to live forward. And I’m looking forward to it,” she noted.
