Diljit Dosanjh Wraps Border 2, Treats Team to Ladoos on Final Day

Diljit Dosanjh has officially wrapped up shooting for the much-awaited war drama Border 2 and celebrated the moment with sweets and smiles. The Punjabi superstar treated his co-stars Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, director Anurag Singh, and the film crew to traditional ladoos as a gesture of gratitude and celebration. The shoot concluded in Punjab, where the team had been filming the intense and emotional sequences of the movie.
Diljit took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes video from the final day of the shoot. The video shows him personally feeding ladoos to Varun, Ahan, Anurag Singh, children from the set, and other members of the team. He captioned the video in Punjabi: “BORDER 2 shoot finished. In Border 2, Diljit plays the role of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, a real-life hero who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest wartime military honour. Sekhon lost his life defending the Srinagar Air Base during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, singlehandedly taking on Pakistan Air Force jets to protect his comrades.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is a spiritual sequel to the iconic 1997 film Border, which was based on the Battle of Longewala. While the original starred Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, and more, the new film continues the saga with a fresh storyline and new faces, including Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Sunny Deol himself in a pivotal role.
