Not Saiyaara, but THIS Short Film Was Ahaan Panday’s Debut?

Ahaan Panday recently made his official debut in Bollywood with Saiyaara, opposite Aneet Padda. The young actor is being praised for his performance in the movie. Not only that, but many are also loving the camaraderie between the Pandays, who were present to support Ahaan at the movie’s special screening.

While fans wanted to know more about Ahaan and his family, some stumbled upon a 2016 short film. The film, starring Ahaan and his uncle Chunky Panday, is currently going viral. The nine-year-old short film, named Fifty, is currently receiving immense praises. It was directed by Manav Chauhan.

Young Ahaan Panday plays a school boy who finally decides to give up smoking. Ahaan’s character chooses to help a street child go to school, instead of using his money for cigarettes. After growing up, goes on to help another man, who turns out to be the street child he once helped. Reddit users have been discussing the short film at length. Many have lauded Ahaan’s performance while some believe he has improved immensely.

In other news, Saiyaara continues its impressive run at the box office. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the Mohit Suri directorial has collected over Rs 170 crores so far, wrapping up day 7 with a total of approximately Rs 172.50 crores. It opened to a strong Rs 21.5 crores on Friday. For Saturday, it earned around Rs 26 crores. It earned Rs 35.75 crores on Sunday. It has maintained steady collections through the weekdays with Rs 24 crores on Monday, Rs 25 crores on Tuesday and Rs 21.5 crores on Wednesday. The film earned Rs 18.75 crores on its 7th day at the box office.
