Ahaan Panday Reveals His Favourite K-pop Group
Ahaan Panday is currently earning praises for his debut with Yash Raj Films’ Saiyaara, opposite Aneet Padda. While he only debuted as an actor, the young star has been quite active on social media ever since he was a teenager. Fans have been sharing his old photos and videos, while many have come across a video of Ahaan with his sisters, Alanna Panday, Ananya Panday and Rysa Panday, playing a rapid-fire game.

In the video, Ahaan is seen speaking about his favourite K-Pop girl group. While Alanna makes an honest mistake, guessing Pinkblack instead of BLACKPINK, Ahaan corrected her while revealing that BLACKPINK’s LISA is his favourite K-Pop star. The confession earned him reactions from his cousins, who were shocked hearing his answer.
Fans took to social media to share their reactions on the confession. Many have been sharing a screenshot of Saiyaara’s title track and BLACKPINK’s JUMP trending together on a music platform. Netizens have been manifesting a collaboration between the two stars.
In other news, Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara has been performing well at the box office. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the Mohit Suri directorial has collected over Rs 170 crores so far, wrapping up day 7 with a total of approximately Rs 172.50 crores. It opened to a strong Rs 21.5 crores on Friday. For Saturday, it earned around Rs 26 crores. It earned Rs 35.75 crores on Sunday. It has maintained steady collections through the weekdays with Rs 24 crores on Monday, Rs 25 crores on Tuesday and Rs 21.5 crores on Wednesday. The film earned Rs 18.75 crores on its 7th day at the box office.

Filmfare’s reviewer has given the movie 3.5 out of 5 stars. “What makes this musical romance work is its earnestness, its emotional core, and the freshness of its leads. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are undeniably promising talents, and if this film is anything to go by, the industry has found two compelling new stars. Here’s hoping we see a lot more of them, and soon” , the reviewer stated.
