Alia Bhatt & Sharvari to Feature in War 2 Post-credit Scene Instead of Shah Rukh Khan

There is speculation among fans regarding the possible return of Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan in a post-credit scene, which could potentially increase the enthusiasm for upcoming films in the Spy-Universe.
However, it seems that the makers may have a different approach this time. According to reports, the Alpha agents are expected to have their cameos instead.
According to a report, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who are set to co-star in Alpha, are expected to be introduced in the post-credit scene of War 2. A source close to the project mentioned that the filmmakers made a strategic decision to not include Shah Rukh Khan in this venture.
According to a source, the upcoming film will feature the lead actors from Alpha as the franchise’s future is being prioritized as a way to establish Alia and Sharvari’s characters. Reportedly, the duo will have an intense cameo in the post-credits of War 2.
Apart from that, the scene will also include elements of “tension” and “mystery,” in a way providing an opportunity to highlight the acting abilities of the two actresses involved. The source also added, “It’s not just a cameo; it’s a setup.” It has been reported that the post-credit scene was filmed separately with a small crew to prevent any exclusive pictures or videos from being leaked. The report also mentioned that the filmmakers want the audience to be discussing about Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s characters while leaving the theatres after watching War 2.
Alpha features two female spies from different backgrounds teaming up for a mission. It’s the first female-led spy film in YRF’s spy universe, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, releasing in December 2025. Meanwhile, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, directed by Ayan Mukerji, hits theatres on August 14.
